আমার অজিতেশ

কলম ধরবার অভ্যাস আমার অনেক আগেই গিয়েছে, ঘটনার সূত্রপাত আজ সেই কলমকেই কেন্দ্র করে ! দুপুর বেলা বেলা তখন ঘড়িতে পৌনে তিনটা হবে, ব্যাংকের কিছু কাজ করবো নীল পেনটা খুঁজছি, কিন্তু ওমা দেখি আমার কাজের পেনটা কে যেন যথা স্থান থেকে সরিয়ে বেশ মুরুব্বী ফলিয়ে রেখেছে। মাথায় হঠাৎ এর ফলশ্রুতিতে হিসাবে রক্ত বয়ে গেলো । হঠাৎ আমার ভেতরের জানোয়ারটা বাড়ির মানুষ গুলোর ওপর চেঁচিয়ে উঠে বলে উঠলো আমার পেনটা কোথায় ?? এদিকে বাড়ির সেই নির্ভেজাল মানুষ গুলো নিতান্তই ফ্যাল ফ্যাল করে কি বলবে না ভেবে বলে অন্য পেন নেবার জন্য । বলে অন্য পেন তোকে এনে দিচ্ছি । কিন্তু তাতে তার মেজাজ আরো ঠিকড়ে যায় ।

সে বলে আমার ঐ পেনটা-ই লাগবে । এ বিষয়ে পাঠক মিত্রদের বলে রাখা ভালো অজিতেশ কিন্তু একটু পেনের সখের মানুষ । সে তার পছন্দের পেন ছাড়া এক বিন্দু কমা, পূর্ণচ্ছেদ পর্যন্ত দেবে না কাগজে ।

অজিতেশ !

ও আলাপটাই করানো হয়নি,

ওই যে “জানোয়ারটা” বুঝলেন না – একটু সাহিত্য প্রেমী মানুষও বটে কিন্তু !

তো এই কথা সেই কথায় রাগ করে সে বাড়ি থেকে সে বেরিয়ে যায় লাইব্রেরী তে একটু বসবে বলে । কিছুটা রাস্তা গিয়ে হঠাৎ সিদ্ধান্ত বদল মন বলল আমায় শান্ত কর, শান্তির জায়গায় চ। খুঁজে নেব পরম শান্তি । এমনি তেও সকাল থেকে প্রয়সীর তাচ্ছিল্যে মনের মধ্যে কালো মেঘ জমেছিল, আর সেটা এই পেনের ঘটনায় বজ্র বিদ্যুৎ সহ দুর্যোগে পরিণত হলো ।

যাই হোক তাড়াতাড়ি করে রাগের মাথায় বেড়োতে গিয়ে মানি ব্যাগ টা নিতে সে ভুলেছে ।

এবার !

এবার টিকিট কাটবে কি করে !

টোটো গাড়ি করেই বা কি করে যাবে ওখানে।

কিন্তু সে যাবেই।

মনস্থির !

ট্রাক প্যান্ট এর পকেট থেকে চলভাসটা বের করে কোনো ক্রমে টিকিট টা কাটে।

আর বাকিটা সে হেঁটেই যাবে ঠিক করে নেয় মনে মনে ।

স্টেশন থেকে মাত্র তো ১.৪ মাইল রাস্তা ।

ক্রমে রেল সওয়ারে চেপে এগিয়ে চলে আগুনের গতিতে গন্তাবিমুখে।

কিছু ক্রোস রেল সওয়ার পর করেছে, হঠাৎ মুঠোফোনে একটু টুং টুং টুং রিং বেজে ওঠে । হ্যাঁ অজিতেসের প্রেয়সীর । দু একটা নগন্য কথপোকথনের পরে টা হলো সাঙ্গ। এদিকে অজিতেসের মনের কালো মেঘ এর আন্দাজ প্রেয়সী করতে না পারায় সেই মেঘ ঘনঘটা করে এলো । মনে মনে ভাবে কি জানি পরিবার পরিজন , মনের জনেরা বোধ হয় এরমই হয় !

আমি ব্যক্তিগত ভাবে দেখেছি, যখনই আমার মন খারাপ হয়, মনের মানসের শান্তি বিচলিত হয়, তখন আমার একটাই থেরাপি । পরম প্রশান্তির স্থল “বেলুর মঠ” ।

আমি “ সখের লেখক ” ওই রবি ঠাকুরের শেষের কবিতার “নবীন লেখকের” মতো ।

আমার সাথে অজিতেসের পরিচয় ন্যাশনাল লাইব্রেরী তে । সেই থেকে ওর সাথে সাহিত্য নিয়ে তর্কাতর্কি এটা ওটা নিয়ে অনেক কাল কেটে গেছে । এই রকমই একদিন দুজনে কফি হাউসে বসেছিলাম, দেখলাম ও খুব ঝিমিয়ে রয়েছে, অনেক টা ঐ বয়লার মুরগি গুলোর বার্ড ফ্লু হলে যেমন হয় সেই রকম । আমি জানি এখানে এরম বিশেষণ ব্যবহার করা আমার কদাপি অনুচিত, তবু করলাম একটু সাহিত্যিকের স্বাধীনতাকে প্রাধান্য দেওয়ার তাগিদে ।

সেদিন ওকে নিয়ে একবার বেলুর মত গেছিলাম সেই থেকে ওর বেলুর মঠের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা ভক্তি ও ভালোবাসা ।

 এ কথা সে কথা ভাবতে ভাবতে রেল বেলুর স্টেশনে এলে ট্রেন থেকে নেবে অজিতেশ ফুট ওভার ব্রিজ দিয়ে পার হয়ে বেলুর মঠের রাস্তা ধরে । সাথে সখের ক্যামেরায় দু একটা ফ্রেম বন্দী করণ শুরু করে । ক্রমে লাল বাবা কলেজকে বাম হাতে রেখে এসে পৌঁছায় মঠ এর আঙিনায় ।

ঢোকার মুখে জয় প্রভু ডাকে তার মন একটু মলীন হয়ে ওঠে । আহ কি শান্তি প্রভু কি শান্তি । মনে যেন ময়ূর পেখম মেলে নৃত্য মুখর হয়েছে, সথে এক পশলা ইলসে গুরি ঝরে যেন মাদকতা এনে দিলো !

এগিয়ে গিয়ে অজিতেশ গঙ্গা বক্ষে পা ডুবিয়ে বসলো ক্ষণ কাল, চোখ মেলে গিলে খেতে লাগলো আকাশের নীল কালোর লুকোচুরির খেলা। কখনও লাল বা কখনো নীল, আর সাথে গঙ্গা নদীর ওপরে চলে বেড়ানো কৃত্রিম রাজ হাস এর জলকেলি । ভপু বাজিয়ে তারা এগিয়ে চলেছে ওই পারে, মা ভবতারিণী মন্দিরের পথে।

এই সব দেখতে দেখতে ঘড়িতে তখন সন্ধ্যা ছয় টার ঘণ্টা পড়েছে ।

সময় হাতে কম,

উঠে চলে মঠের দিকে, সেখানে গিয়ে সে ধ্যান মগ্ন হয় ।

ক্রমে মন এর মাঝের সেই সামুদ্রিক গর্জন বিলীন হতে হতে তা একটা শান্ত স্নিগ্ধ নদীতে পরিণত হয়েছে । কেউ দেখলে বুঝতেই পারবে না এই সমুদ্ধে একটু আগে সুনামী নেবেছিল । আর সেই জানোয়ারটা! ওটাও আর নেই মশাই !

ধ্যান সাঙ্গ হলে আরতি দেখে এবার যে না চাইলেও ফিরতে হবে বাটি মুখে ।

তাই অজিতেশ এবার উঠলো, সত্যি বলতে আমি হলে হয়তো এই মাদকতা থেকে উঠে আসতে পারতাম না । আসার আগে আর একবার পিছন ফিরে তাকালো অশ্রু সজল চোখে। মনে মনে বলে ওঠে আসি !

অমনি একটা কলিং বেলের শব্দে আমার সম্বিৎ ফিরল, ফোনে অজিতেসকে বললাম রাখি বন্ধু । কেউ এলো বুঝি । দেখি আমার শান্তি নেবে নাকি !
